Reclaim your focus
Break the endless scroll.
Feed Break backs you out of YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels the moment they open. The rest of each app keeps working exactly as before.
How it works
Three steps, then it stays out of your way.
Turn it on once
Enable Feed Break in Android's accessibility settings. That's the whole setup — no account, no sign-in.
Open a short-form feed
The moment Shorts or Reels opens, Feed Break sends you straight back to your regular feed — before the scroll starts.
Stay in control
Pause blocking whenever you like, or switch off just one app. It's your phone — you decide.
Nothing leaves your device
Feed Break has no server of its own, and no way to send your data anywhere.
Feed Break never records or uploads what's on your screen — the check happens in the moment, in memory, and is gone. Its only network use is a once-a-day download of a small, public rules file (which you can read yourself at /rules.json) so blocking keeps working when YouTube and Instagram change. It cannot be tied to you, and nothing is ever uploaded automatically.
An independent project
Feed Break is a personal project built by Srikeerthan. If something isn't working or you have a question, get in touch.
